Pandyaは'70年代からcortexのcytoarchitectureとconnectivityの研究をやってきた。
まえはSTSとかparietal cortexとかdorsolateral frontal cortexとかを扱っていたけど、だんだん大脳の領野を探求していくうちについに一番手付かずだったcingulateまでやってきた、というかんじ。
その意味では99年にEJNに出たretrosplenial area 30のanatomyも同系統。
